PAYDAY SUPER IS HERE

From 1 July 2026, employers must pay their employees’ super at the same time as their salary and wages. This is known as Payday Super.

Team Super has the resources to help you, including answers to your frequently asked questions and a troubleshooting guide to help you make payments under the new rules.

ABOUT QUICKSUPER

QuickSuper* is our online portal that allows you to make super payments to all your employees at once, even if they’re not with Team Super. It's quick, secure and free to use.

HOW QUICKSUPER MAKES PAYDAY SUPER SIMPLER

  • QuickSuper* allows same-day contributions, meaning you will have more time to pay contributions returned to you by a super fund, helping you ensure your employees’ super payments are received by their funds within seven business days, which is the deadline for most payments under the new Payday Super rules from 1 July 2026.

  • QuickSuper will return failed contributions back to you in real-time, giving you time to pay the contribution to the correct super fund within seven business days (and avoid the super guarantee charge)

  • QuickSuper will also send you SuperStream messaging when you onboard new employees, to confirm that their nominated super fund will accept your contributions before you even make the first contribution.

HOW TO ACCESS TEAM SUPER’S QUICKSUPER PORTAL

Employers can use Team Super QuickSuper* clearing house by joining Team Super as a registered employer.

STEPS FOR PAYING SUPER VIA QUICKSUPER

Make same-day contributions with QuickSuper* by following these steps.

If you need further assistance, you can give us a call on 13 64 63 or email employers@admin.teamsuper.com.

1. ENTER CONTRIBUTIONS

You can do this by entering data manually online, or uploading a .csv file. You'll find a template and specification guide for .csv files within the QuickSuper portal.

2. REVIEW

Check the total contribution amounts and classifications (under the Qualifying Earnings criteria) are correct and submit.

3. AUTHORISE

If required, the payment details will go into a workflow to be approved by an authorised person within your business.

4. PAY TO QUICKSUPER

QuickSuper will provide you with a BSB, account number, reference number and total amount to pay. You’ll need to use these to make an Electronic Funds Transfer by logging into your bank’s website.

5. DEPOSIT

QuickSuper will send super and contribution information to the appropriate super funds.

6. CHECK PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED

Monitor your super contributions for errors after you submit them. A super fund has three business days to allocate or reject a payment. There’s no extension to the seven business day deadline if a payment is rejected by the fund. You should know where errors will appear, understand common error messages and correct issues as soon as possible so your payment can be resubmitted. See our Troubleshooting tips page for information on some of the common errors and how to address them.
